Existing pavement markings are removed using the most effective method for the surface and project requirements, including concrete grinding, shot blasting, or water blasting. Each method is selected to remove existing striping while properly preparing the surface for new pavement markings.
The entire concrete parking deck is brush blasted to remove surface contaminants, embedded grime, and oxidized concrete — creating an even, uniform finish that restores the deck to a like-new appearance.
A clear concrete penetrating sealer is applied across the entire deck surface — providing deep protection against water infiltration, vehicle fluids, and surface deterioration without altering the deck's natural appearance.
Once the sealer has cured, the deck is re-striped per the existing layout or a new layout based on project specifications — including parking stalls, ADA spaces, fire lanes, directional markings, and all required pavement legends.
